Negotiately (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an AI-powered negotiation assistant at negotiately.ai (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the Service. By using Negotiately, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information: Your email address when you sign up or log in.
• Conversation content: The negotiation scenarios, messages, and other content you submit to the Service during sessions. If you include personal information about yourself or others in your messages, we collect that information.
• Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the contents of your message and contact details.

Information collected automatically

• Device and connection information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and referring page.
• Usage information: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps of activity.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and local storage to manage your session and preferences. With your consent, we also use Google analytics and advertising tags to measure site usage and signup conversions. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not function correctly.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authenticating your account and storing your sessions.
• To power AI-assisted features by sending your conversation content to Anthropic's API for processing (see Section 4).
• To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service.
• To measure Google Ads signup conversions when you have granted advertising consent. If enabled, enhanced conversions may send a hashed version of your email address to Google for conversion measurement.
• We do not use your conversation content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as described below.

Service providers

• Anthropic: Your conversation content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy policy, which you can review at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
• Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. Your account information and session data are stored on Supabase infrastructure.
• Google: With your consent, we use Google tag, Google Ads conversion tracking, and related measurement services to understand site performance and measure signups from ads. We do not sell personal information to Google.
• Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments and manage subscriptions. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Other disclosures

• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: If Negotiately is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Advertising Choices

Essential cookies are used for login, security, and preferences. Optional Google analytics and advertising storage are denied by default and are only enabled when you accept optional measurement cookies in the site banner. If you decline, we do not load Google Ads conversion tracking for your browser.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings and Google's advertising controls. Clearing site data may reset your cookie preference.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and conversation history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons. You can delete individual negotiation sessions at any time from within the app.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@negotiately.ai and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Objection: Object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests.
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

10. Changes to This Policy
